ACTIVITIES
in & around Shenmen

Beautiful region full of nature

The Allier is a gently undulating and green region still free from mass tourism. This makes it an ideal destination for nature lovers and those looking for peace and quiet, but also for sports enthusiasts, such as cyclists, hikers, mountain bikers and golfers.

Water lovers can take a beautiful canoe trip on the peaceful Allier and the more lively Sioule, swim in one of the many recreational lakes or enjoy the beneficial spring water in the spas of Vichy, Néris-les-Bains and Bourbon l'Archambault.

A visit to the Forêt de Tronçais, Europe's largest and most beautiful oak forest with a wealth of coarse game, is well worthwhile, as are the worthwhile towns of Vichy, Montluçon, Charroux, Souvigny and Hérisson
