Shenmen is an exceptional place.
A place that has the quality to make you feel ‘at home’ with extras such as a heated swimming
pool and a sauna. Here you can fully enjoy French country life, with natural peace, vastness,
sounds of nature, silence and clear starry skies.
Because we like to guarantee that peace and quiet for all our guests, in July and August we only
welcome guests without children or with children older than 7 years.
Our guest rooms
Our three rooms bear names of Indian goddesses and overlook the rolling fields. They testify to quality and creativity.
Each room has its own enclosed toilet, a step-in shower with an outside view and a washbasin. The beds are 1m80 wide and 2m10 long, and have biolatex mattresses. On request, the bed can also be separated into two single beds. Under a duvet made of duck feather it is always a pleasure to sleep here.
The price of the room naturally includes a full breakfast. On fixed evenings, you can also join us at the guest table
Gîte for 4 persons
This gîte is equipped for up to 4 people and has 2 bedrooms. One with a double bed of 1.80 x 2 m and one with a bunk bed with 2 beds of 0.90 m x 2 m. Each bedroom has its own washbasin, as well as a spacious step-in shower and a separate toilet.
The cosy kitchen has everything for a real kitchenprincess: microwave, oven, fridge, dishwasher, large sink,...
The cottage is further equipped with a dining table, sitting area, TV screen with DVD player (films available), and with a classic radio/CD player. A private terrace with table, chairs, parasol and
deckchairs completes the picture. Furthermore, you can use communal outdoor facilities such as the swimming pool, garden, hammock,...
The gite can be rented for a full week, from Friday to Friday in July and August to avoid traffic jams on Saturdays. Outside July and August, the gite can be rented per week without compulsory arrival on Friday.
Gîte for 6 persons
Our 3 rooms of the chambres d'hôtes can also be rented in their entirety as a gîte. You then get a luxurious gîte for 6 people of over 170m2, 3 bathrooms, a private kitchen, a large dining area, a private covered terrace, a heated swimming pool, the possibility of a sauna and a large garden.
All the accommodation provided for chambres d'hôtes can be used completely privately in this formula. There is no compulsory day of arrival for this gite and the minimum stay is 1 week

an additional covered outdoor summer lounge, where you can read undisturbed during the day or relax in thick cushions. A place where, in the evening, you can catch the golden hue of the evening sun until it sets.
Table d'hôtes
For our B&B guests,
an evening meal is offered daily in high season, except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All our preparation is homemade including our mayonnaises, dressings and (dip) sauces. Our
vegetables come from our own organic garden and our meals are tasty, healthy and filling. Bespoke we take into account people who have intolerances or are allergic to certain foods, I'm thinking gluten, dairy products, sugars.... Please mention when booking.
The guest kitchen can be used in the afternoon to prepare a light meal or to warm something up and in the evening you can use the kitchen if no tables d'hôtes is served. There remains, of course, the choice of a restaurant nearby. (Nearest at 7 km in Montmarault)
Outside July and August there is tables d'hôtes on demand

Gîte for 4 persons:
price in July and August: 980 euros incl final cleaning, bed linen and towels. For rent per week from Friday to Friday.
Other months: 850 euros including final cleaning, bed linen and towels.
Gîte for 6 people from Easter holidays until 20 November

1,650€ per week, incl all bedding, towels and 125€ final cleaning. Breakfast service can be discussed. For rent per week - arrival day is free (check availability if the 3 rooms are still free for 7 consecutive days)
